Manchester Phoenix have re-signed Scottish forward Adam Walker for a third season. Walker, 21, burst into the Phoenix team with 13 goals and 10 assists in his debut season, but struggled to make the same impact last season. He said: "I never really wanted to go anywhere else, but at the end of last season I had a lot of thinking to do. "I'm very pleased to be coming back to Manchester, I really like the city and club, it's become a second home." I don't want to be a bit-part player for the club." Phoenix player-coach Tony Hand said: "He's shown what he is capable of, now he has to show the hunger and desire in battle to achieve it consistently. "He knows he has to re-apply himself to the job of being a professional hockey player and that will start, like everyone else, by coming to training camp fit, in good shape, and ready to go both physically and mentally."
