Mark Morrison is staying with the Belfast Giants

Mark Morrison is the latest Belfast Giants player to sign on for another year with the Elite League club.

He is the fourth player being kept on by new coach Steve Thornton and it will be his sixth term with the Giants.

"All of his team-mates told me Mo has a great attitude and that he is absolutely dynamite to have in the locker room," said Thornton.

"I know he has become a bit of a local hero with the fans and those are the kind of personalities we need more of."
