Corey Neilson has made his first two signings as head coach of the Nottingham Panthers.

Popular British defenceman Danny Meyers returns for a third successive season at the National Ice Centre, as does forward James Ferrara.

Neilson told BBC Radio Nottingham: "Danny is popular on the ice, with the fans and also in the locker room.

"While Ferrara has the ability to play at the back as well as on the wing, so we may see a new role for him."
