The Belfast Giants saw their 16-match winning run come to an end as Elite League rivals Coventry Blaze secured an overtime win at the Odyssey Arena. Dan Carlson gave Coventry the lead on 25.26 but Belfast hit back with goals from Carlyle Lewis and Leigh Jamieson.
Former Giants favourite Curtis Huppe netted for Coventry to make it 2-2.
Barrie Moore scored the winning goal on 60.43 so Coventry are now level with Belfast at the top of the table with four games in hand.
