Leigh Jamieson has played 229 games for the Belfast Giants

The 21-year-old from Milton Keynes is seventh on the all-time list of Giants appearances, having played 229 games for the Belfast side.

"With Leigh you know you are getting a great character and a young talent which will keep getting better," said Giants general manager Todd Kelman.

"I have played with him for four seasons. He is important to the team."

Jamieson scored 13 points last season during which he played mostly as a forward, although he did occasionally drop back to his original position as a defenceman.
