Newcastle Vipers have signed Canadian forward Derek Campbell, who had an impressive Elite League campaign with Manchester Phoenix last season. The 27-year-old scored 26 goals and recorded 45 assists in 59 games.
Vipers coach Rob Wilson said: "Derek was highly sought after following a good season with Manchester.
"He's shown he can score goals in this league and he's pretty tough in his own right. All in all, he is a great fit for our team this coming season."
