Coventry Blaze head coach Paul Thompson is thrilled to capture netminder Trevor Koenig from Newcastle Vipers. Last season the 31-year-old helped the Vipers to a surprise second place finish in ice hockey's Elite League.
"Trevor is an outstanding goalie - he kept Newcastle in a lot of low scoring games last year," said Thompson.
"Trevor is in the North American mould - he is feisty, competitive and aggressive and he will bring an extra spark to our defence."
