Cardiff Devils 2-1 Belfast Giants
The Belfast Giants crashed to their second successive play-off defeat when they lost by the odd goal in three in Cardiff on Thursday night.

The Devils opened up with a goal from John Cullen after only 1:20 on the clock.

However, 90 seconds later George Awada set up Curtis Hupper for the Giants equaliser.

But another strike by the Devils in the first quarter through Vezio Sacratini ended the scoring to down the Giants.

The Giants are now struggling to make the Final Four shoot-out with the Devils leading the race on six points followed by the Steelers on four.

The Giants are due to face the Devils at the Odyssey on Friday night.
