McCoy has won every champion jockey title since 1996
Champion jockey Tony McCoy clocked up his 100th win of the season with a double at Ludlow.
With six months of the jumps campaign left, the 15-time champion is 20 wins clear of nearest rival Richard Johnson.
McCoy, recorded winner number 99 on the Gordon Elliott-trained Al Dafa (11-8), who rewarded favourite-backers in the opening juvenile hurdle.
The Northern Irish jockey brought up the century on Michael Chapman's 11-2 shot Skye But N Ben.
McCoy, 36, has broken a succession of records since he became champion for the first time in 1996.
He rode a record 289 winners in the 2001-02 season, and has been victorious in more than 3,200 races in all.
McCoy ended his Grand National jinx in April 2010 when he claimed victory at the 15th attempt on board Don't Push It.
He rode his fastest century on 6 November, 1997, when the season started on 5 June, from 304 rides. The 2010-11 season started on 25 April and his latest milestone was completed after 422 rides.
