Video - Sea the Stars triumphs in 2009 Arc

The BBC has secured the rights to televise the 2010 running of the Prix de l'Arc de Triomphe, European horse racing's richest race.

Clare Balding will be joined by Willie Carson and Jim McGrath at Longchamp for coverage on BBC Two on 3 October.

The race, which was won in 2009 by record-breaking colt Sea The Stars, will be available to watch live for UK users of the BBC Sport website.

And BBC Radio 5 live will have commentary from the Paris track.

John Hunt will commentate with racing correspondent Cornelius Lysaght giving listeners the latest news.

Coverage will also be available on the BBC iPlayer.
