Stablemates Kauto Star and Denman go head-to-head in the Cheltenham Gold Cup for the third time on Friday 19 March.

The pair, trained by Paul Nicholls and housed in neighbouring boxes at his yard in Somerset, are 1-1 in steeplechasing's blue riband event.

Denman claimed the honours in 2008 while Kauto Star became the first horse to regain the title a year later.

They have been hailed as the best chasers for years, and this is how they measure up ahead of their eagerly-awaited showdown.
