Sunday's meeting at Plumpton, and both jumps cards on Monday - at Ludlow and Taunton - have been abandoned. Plumpton had to be abandoned with parts of the track still frozen after a second night of heavy frost. Clerk of the course Mark Cornford said: "We've got frost protection covers but the frost has worked its way in." Temperatures were as low as -10C at Ludlow in Shropshire overnight, while Taunton in Somerset also made an early decision to call off racing. Racegoers will have to make do with the all-weather surfaces at Southwell on Sunday, and Wolverhampton on Monday. The next scheduled national hunt racing is at Leicester and Sedgefield on Tuesday.
