Kristinor races Over To You Bert to the line |
Three Guernsey-owned horses will run in Bank Holiday Monday's L'Ancresse Common race day. Glenree, Kristinor and Grenane will be representing the island as 25 horses will compete in five races. Kristinoor will look to repeat 2007's success in the feature race by winning again for local owner Jim Jamouneau. Glenree is the only horse trained in the Bailiwick and goes in the third race which carries the biggest purse in Channel Islands' history. Trevor Gallienne's Grenane did not run last year and could be an outside bet for the second.
