Great Yarmouth's summer of flat racing got off to a delayed, yet successful start on Friday evening. Champion jockey Seb Sanders managed two wins from five rides, on board Dragon Flame in the opening race, then on Shogun Prince in the penultimate one. Hingham trainer Christine Dunnett's course record improved when Polar Force won the second race at odds of 17-2. Other winners included 10-11 favourite Mia's Boy in the third race and 25-1 shot Cavendish in the evening's finale.
