Arch Swing chased the 5-4 favourite home but never looked like catching her with Simply Perfect in third.

Finsceal Beo is trained by Manning's father-in-law Jim Bolger, whose Teofilo was the antepost favourite for the 2000 Guineas before a last-minute injury.

Victory in the fillies' Classic was thus a compensation for the County Carlow trainer as it was for punters after 25-1 outsider Cockney Rebel won the 2000 Guineas on Saturday.

"I was not surprised at how easily she won as she is a brilliant filly," said Bolger, whose filly's name means "living legend".

"The traumatic week is history at this stage and this is the day.

"The aim is definitely to run in the Irish Guineas now, and then we'll go to Royal Ascot for the Coronation and then step up to 10 furlongs in the Pretty Polly."

Manning added: "She would have won at any trip and I think she will come on for the run."

Arch Swing's trainer John Oxx said his filly would also be likely to tackle the Irish 1000 Guineas while Jeremy Noseda's Simply Perfect is being aimed at either the English or French Oaks.

Sander Camillo, who had been the antepost second-favourite for the 1000 Guineas, was withdrawn earlier on Sunday because she was in season.

Earlier on the card, St Leger winner Sixties Icon was an impressive winner of the StanJamesUK.com Jockey Club Stakes.

Last year's St Leger hero swept into the lead two furlongs out under Frankie Dettori and bounded clear to land the Group Two contest in great style.
