Following the latest forfeit stage for the 2,000 Guineas, trainer Jim Bolger has given an upbeat report about current market leader Teofilo. "He has done very well, I am really happy with him and he seems to be well forward," the trainer told the BBC.
"We'll go to Newmarket first and take it from there. We are taking it one race at a time but obviously looking forward to the whole season.
"With Holy Roman Emperor not there it should make it a bit easier for us."
Holy Roman Emperor will miss the Guineas after replacing George Washington at stud following the discovery that the 2006 2,000 Guineas winner has fertility problems.
