Arctic Blue in stunning victory | | Arctic Blue produced a massive upset at Chepstow when securing the John Smith's Extra Smooth Support ABF Novices Hurdle at staggering odds of 200-1. Pat Rodford's charge had shown nothing in all his starts to date but he obviously felt up to the challenge to beat Bonny Grey and The Grocers Curate. "He's been working well with Laggan Bay," explained Rodford's assistant Adrian Rideout. "He is a big, clumsy horse but has always shown plenty at home."
