Knight admits to Mate health fear
Best Mate with trainer Henrietta Knight
Best Mate is bidding for a fourth Gold Cup in a row
Trainer Henrietta Knight has said that she was worried about the health of triple Gold Cup winner Best Mate during his recent illness.

The horse was found to be under the weather after losing to Beef or Salmon in Ireland at the end of December but he is getting back to health.

"He was completely flat and off his food and would stand with his head held low in the stable," Knight said.

"He was a sick horse, but now he's enthusiastic and alert again."
