 Frankie Dettori's Shamardal pips Hurricane Run in France |
Irish Derby favourite Hurricane Run will be ridden by Kieren Fallon in Sunday's big race at The Curragh. The Andre Fabre-trained colt has been purchased by the Coolmore stable following his narrow defeat in the French Derby earlier this month.
The son of Montjeu lost his unbeaten record when he went down by a neck to Shamardal at Chantilly.
"He looks a really good horse and we are always looking for top prospects," spokesman Richard Henry said.
