O'Brien horse wins Ulster Derby
Newlands North, trained by Michael O'Brien, won the Specsavers Ulster Derby at the Summer Festival of Racing at Down Royal on Saturday.

Ridden by Rory Cleary, the 10-1 shot came home a length and a half ahead of Callow Lake, the Jessica Harrington trained 5-1 favourite.

Raggtime Toon (7-1) was third of the 14 runners in the big race of the three-day festival.

The richest flat race staged in the province boasts a �35,000 first prize.
