Cornelius Lysaght won BBC Five Live's Epsom Derby charity tipping competition. Lysaght, Clare Balding, Jim McGrath and Claude Duval were given a total pool of 2,500 each to stake on four trials plus the big race itself.
They had to wager 500 on one horse in each of the following races - the Chester Vase (6 May), Lingfield Derby Trial (10 May), Dante Stakes, York (14 May), Predominate Stakes, Goodwood (20 May) and Vodafone Derby (7 June).
Lysaght shot into the lead with Magistretti, 8-1 winner of the Dante Stakes. But none of the pundits picked out Kris Kin in the Derby.
Epsom Downs Racecourse and bookmakers Ladbrokes provided the betting funds and any winnings will go to a charity of the pundit's choice.
