England coach Danny Kerry has recalled Leicester duo Hannah Macleod and Anne Panter for the EuroHockey Nations Championships in Manchester in August. The pair, along with Canterbury's Cathy Gilliat-Smith replace Jo Ellis, Lisa Wooding and Helen Grant from the 18-strong World Cup squad.
"We feel we have selected a squad that will deliver in our most important tournament in 2007," said Kerry.
England will reach next year's Olympics if they finish in the top three.
Slough's Alex Danson is also included in the squad subject to her recovering from injury while Leicester's Kerry Williams and Rebecca Herbert are back after university exams.
England play Holland, Ireland and Italy in their pool matches at Belle Vue, which staged the Commonwealth Games tournament five years ago.
The tournament runs from 18 to 26 August.
