Ireland will host a new international hockey tournament for men and women for at least the next three years. The new invitational competition will feature top world nations competing with Ireland annually in what will be key preparation for major tournaments.
The competition will be held at the National Hockey Stadium in UCD, Dublin and both men's and women's tournaments will comprise a four-nations format.
The dates for this year's series are 13 to 17 June.
In the women's Setanta Sports Trophy, Ireland will compete with Olympic champions Germany, South Africa and Scotland.
In the Men's Setanta Trophy, Ireland will face Canada, Egypt and Wales.
