England women's hockey team thrashed France 10-0 for their third straight win at the World Cup qualifier in Rome. Rachel Walker, Crista Cullen, Alex Danson and Lucille Wright sent the side to a 4-0 lead at half-time.
After the break, Helen Grant scored twice, joining Lisa Wooding, Helen Richardson, Sally Walton and Wright - with her second - on the scoresheet.
The win lifted England to top of Group A while winless Scotland are rooted to the bottom after a 5-1 loss to Japan.
Emma Rochlin got Scotland's only goal with her 53rd-minute penalty as Japan raced to 5-0 lead before consigning their opponents to their third straight defeat.
