World three-day eventing champion Zara Phillips has added to her accolades by being named Equestrian of the Year. She was honoured by the Horse of the Year Show in recognition of her gold medal at the World Equestrian Games.
The victory in Aachen made her only the third rider to hold both World and European titles concurrently.
Her mother, Princess Anne, became European champion in 1971 and her father, Mark Phillips, is a three-time team gold medal winner.
