Dutch star Esther Vergeer will be bidding for consecutive Wimbledon women's wheelchair doubles titles this weekend.

Vergeer, the world singles and doubles number one, has won her last 386 singles matches and partnered Korie Homan to last year's inaugural title.

This year, she teams up with compatriot Sharon Walraven with the pair hoping to make up for their defeat in last month's French Open final.

They will face Belgium's Annick Sevenans and Aniek van Koot of the Netherlands in Friday's semi-finals while Britain's Lucy Shuker and Australia's Daniela di Toro take on France's Florence Alix-Gravellier and Jiske Griffioen of the Netherlands.

Saturday's men's semi-finals will see top seeds Shingo Kunieda of Japan and France's Stephane Houdet against French pair Frederic Cattaneo and Nicolas Peifer while Dutch duo Ronald Vink and Maikel Scheffers will be up against Robin Ammerlaan of the Netherlands and Sweden's Stefan Olsson.
