Alex Buesnel stole the show winning a host of medals

Jersey's gymnasts finished with more than 30 medals at the Special Olympics National Summer Games in Leicester.

Highlights included Alex Buesnel, Harry Smale and Martyn Miles, who made an almost clean sweep of gold medals in the level four men's competition.

Jersey Special Gymnastics Club's head coach, John Grady, was delighted with the results.

"They've all done really well, we expected we would do well," he told BBC Radio Jersey.

"It's either the others are going backwards or we are just getting better and better."

Buesnel was the star of the Jersey team winning five gold medals and a silver.
