CCV have won the opening match of this year's Jersey Sports Association for the Disabled's Wheelchair Basketball Challenge at Les Quennevais.

Chris Coates scored four of their five baskets as they beat the Airport Engineers 10-8.

Chris Brewer got the winners' other basket while Zane Bailey got three for the Engineers.

The next match sees the JEC take on Les Quennevais School on Monday 7 July at 2000 BST.
