 Coombs won a gold and a silver at the European Championships |
Devon teenager Krysten Coombs has won a gold medal at the European Disabled Badminton Championships in Germany. The 16-year-old from Dartington and his partner Rachel Chung won the dwarf category of the mixed doubles at the championships in Dortmund. Coombs also won a silver with Northern Ireland's Niall McVeigh in the men's doubles. McVeigh went on to win the men's singles while Coombs reached the quarter-finals of the individual event.
