Newquay Cormorants duo Jonathan Fox and Matthew Whorwood have been selected for the GB swimming team for the 2008 Paralympics in Beijing.

16-year-old Fox is the world record holder at 50m and 100m backstroke in the S7 category.

Matt Whorwood is the second fastest in the world this year at the 400m freestyle in the S6 category.

36 swimmers have been chosen to represent Britain in the Paralympics, which run from September 6-17.
