Sascha Kindred smashed the world record in the men's 200m individual medley in the S6 classification at the British Swimming Championships. The Paralympic champion broke the world record in Sunday's heats with a time of two minutes, 46.10 seconds. He then set another record as he powered to victory in the final with a time of 2:43.09. Natalie Jones recorded a time of 3:17.50 to win the national title in the 200m individual medley (S6). On Saturday, Dave Roberts claimed his third world record of the event by setting a time of 27.67 seconds in the men's 50m freestyle heats (S7) before claiming gold in the final. City of Salford's Heather Frederiksen, who competes in the S8 category, claimed gold in the women's 50m freestyle. Swansea Performance swimmer Graham Edmunds smashed the British record in the S10 classification of the men's 50m freestyle on his way to the silver medal in a time of 25.22.
