Two of Britain's four adaptive crews moved into finals at the World Rowing Championships in Munich on Thursday. Tom Aggar won the arms-only men's single scull from Israel while the mixed adaptive coxed four also won. However, Karen Cromie and James Roberts will have to race in the B final after finishing fourth in the doubles heat. "The competition is stepping up and we are trying to keep ahead of it," said Vicky Hansford of the defending champion mixed four. "We are learning from each race and, hopefully, we'll peak at just the right time." Meanwhile the men's quadruple scull won their consolation semi-final, holding off China and Croatia.
