McFall claims third in Paris race

McFall won silver in the 100m at the Paralympic World Cup
British amputee sprinter John McFall finished third in the 100m Paralympic race at Friday's Golden League meeting in Paris.

McFall, 26, clocked a time of 12.79 seconds behind world record holder Earle Connor of Canada and home favourite Clavel Kayitare.

Connor's winning time was 12.34 with Kayitare crossing the line in 12.74, just ahead of the Briton.

Blind athlete Tracey Hinton could only finish fifth in the women's 400m.

Hinton trailed in more than six seconds behind French winner Assia El'Hannouni.
