Peter Norfolk in action
Norfolk was a clear-cut winner in Nottingham
Peter Norfolk successfully defended his quad crown at the Nottingham Indoor Wheelchair Tennis Tournament on Sunday.

In a rematch of last year's final, the British Paralympic champion saw off Israeli second seed Shraga Weinberg with a comfortable 6-0 6-2 win.

The men's main draw singles also went to form with world number two Robin Ammerlaan taking the title.

But Japan's Mie Yaoso, who knocked out defending champion Jiske Griffioen, was a surprise winner in the women's event.

After despatching Griffioen in the semi-finals, Yaoso came through a battling contest with Belgian Brigitte Ameryckx 6-4 2-6 6-1.

Ammerlaan was making his first appearance in the Nottingham event but it was a successful one as he defeated fellow Dutchman Maikel Schefffers 6-2 6-0.
