The Great Britain men's wheelchair basketball team are looking for a new coach after Dave Titmuss stepped down from the post. Titmuss, who had been in charge since 1999, will concentrate on his role as the sport's performance director.
The search for his coaching successor will begin shortly.
He led the team to silver at the 2002 World Championships and 2004 Paralympic bronze but they were only fifth at last week's World Championships in Holland.
Titmuss said: "I have tried to combine the roles of performance director and head coach for several years now and this has become an increasingly difficult workload.
"With the future looking bright for the sport, I felt it was time for me to step down from the day-to-day coaching role and focus on the job of driving the GB Wheelchair Basketball Association's World Class Performance Plan.
"The GBWBA has always been extremely supportive of my work and I think this is now the right time for me to concentrate on my role as performance director.
"I am very proud of my coaching record with GB since the Sydney Paralympics and I am also pleased to have taken the programme into a new era of professionalism."
