British number two Lucy Shuker caused a surprise by reaching the women's singles final at the Nottingham Indoor Wheelchair Tennis tournament. Shuker, who defeated second seed Janet McMorran in the quarter-finals, beat German fourth seed Katharina Kruger 6-2 6-3 in the last four.
Shuker will face world number three Jiske Griffioen in Sunday's final.
British number one Jayant Mistry was beaten 6-7 6-4 6-4 by Sweden's Peter Wilkstrom in the men's semi-finals.
Wilkstrom will now play world number one Michael Jeremiasz in the final after he defeated fellow Frenchman and fourth seed Stephane Goudou 6-2 6-0.
Mistry has a chance for glory in the doubles where he and Jeremiasz will defend their tittle against Swedish second seeds Wilkstrom and Stefan Olsson.
Paralympic champion Peter Norfolk will aim to end his year unbeaten when he plays Israel's Shraga Weinberg in the quad singles final.
Norfolk defeated fourth seed Antonio Raffaele 6-3 6-2 in the last four while Weinberg beat Italian third seed Giuseppe Polidori 4-6 6-4 7-5.
