Armagh men Ryan Hill and Cyril Walker and Dungannon's Liam Weir were among six more Irish medallists at the Winter Special Olympics on Friday. After claiming a silver and a bronze earlier this week, Hill struck gold in the intermediate slalom skiing event.
Weir, a gold medallist on Wednesday, took a silver on Friday in his novice slalom event in Nagano.
Walker picked up his first medal of the games when he took third in the novice slalom event.
Dubliner Cormac Maguire and Warren Tate plus Wicklow woman Lorraine Whelan also picked up medals on the final day of competition in Japan which brought Team Ireland's haul up to 12.
Maguire earned his first medal of the games by finishing first in the intermediate slalom.
Tate's silver medal win in the intermediate slalom ensured that every member of the Irish team will take home a medal.
Wicklow woman Lorraine Whelan added a bronze to her earlier gold medal by taking a third place in the intermediate slalom.
The closing ceremony of the Games takes place on Saturday evening and the Irish team will return home on Sunday afternoon when they are certain to receive a big welcome at Dublin Airport.
