British paralympian Tanni Grey Thompson has given her unqualified support to London's Olympics 2012 bid. The 35-year-old, who has won 11 Paralympic golds, met Games inspectors at the start of their four-day visit.
And she said the London approach towards disability sport would help the overall bid.
"I don't believe there's another bid that can do the Paralympics as well as we can," insisted Grey Thompson in an interview with BBC News 24.
She added: "The Paralympic Games have always been part of an integral bid.
"If it had been something that was just bolted on at the end of it, I wouldn't have been that interested in being involved.
"Sometimes our biggest problem is we don't believe we can do it. I think we are in a really good position."
