GB suffer losing start in France
The GB women's wheelchair basketball team lost 48-26 to hosts France in their opening game at the European Championships.

GB struggled throughout against their quick opponents who also dominated the rebounding exchanges.

After a slow start, France controlled the game, leading 24-14 at the break and they never lost their lead.

Sarah Burrett hit 14 points for GB who face two games on Thursday against Spain and Germany.

"The French post players were just too strong and shot well and we couldn't handle it," said GB coach Garry Peel.
