Tanni is back in training after winning two golds in Athens |
Paralympic gold medallist Tanni Grey Thompson has embarked on a new challenge - as a radio presenter. The Redcar-based winner of 11 golds over five Paralympics has begun a stint with BBC Radio Cleveland.
She is presenting the station's daily morning phone-in programme from 0900-1200 GMT for six weeks.
Regular presenter Matthew Davies has taken time off to appear in panto in Jack and the Beanstalk at the Middlesbrough Theatre.
It is a busy time for Tanni who was presented with the British Wheelchair Sports lifetime achievement award on Saturday at a function in Reading.
She was up early for a training session at Stoke Mandeville on Sunday morning before travelling back to her home where she switched on Redcar's Christmas lights.
