Great Britain moved into the last four of the wheelchair rugby after beating Japan 50-42 on Thursday. Team GB were always in front, despite a plucky performance from the number eight seeds, as they sealed their place in Friday's semi-final.
Troye Collins continued his impressive form with 21 points, while Shinichi Shimakawa top-scored for Japan on 17.
Britain next take on New Zealand after the Kiwis defeated Belgium 40-33 in their quarter-final on Thursday.
Collins said: "We have to take each game as it comes - we've just got to turn up and keep doing what we've been doing.
"There is such a good morale among the players and a real buzz in the team."
World champions Canada play Australia on Thursday evening for the chance to meet the United States in the semi-finals the following day.
The USA beat Germany 46-3 in the first-quarter final.
Britain's semi-final is at 1700 on Friday with a final beckoning on Saturday evening.
