Ian Sharpe and his pilot Paul Hunter added to Great Britain's Paralympic cycling medal tally with a bronze in the men's B1-3 1km tandem time trial. The pair had led after setting an impressive one minute 5.530 seconds, but were later overhauled by pairings from Australia and France.
It was their second bronze of the Games after they finished third in the 4km individual pursuit on Sunday.
Dan Gordon and Barney Storey finished fifth in 1:06.645.

Despite finishing third, Sharpe and Hunter were overjoyed with their medal in what is their weaker event. "We came here as 4km riders and we certainly never expected to win a medal," said Hunter afterwards.
"We rode out of our skins and took a second and a half off our personal best for the event and we are just over the moon."
But the pair had plenty of sympathy for their GB teammates, who came into the Games as the defending European champions and were tipped for a medal.
"It was painful to watch Dan and Barney's run because they are the top GB pairing in the event and we wanted them to do well," said Hunter
"It is heart-breaking when you wait four years for your event and then something goes wrong."
