British wheelchair racer Jenny Ridley has hinted she may not compete in Athens after a re-classification left her medal dream in tatters. Earlier this week, she was brought up from the T52 to the T53 category, which is for less disabled athletes.
"I am entered into the T53 category races and I haven't made the decision whether I will compete," she said.
"But for me to go and compete against them, I will come last and it's something I don't want to do."

Ridley had been classified by the GB authorities in the T52 category but had to undergo an international classification before competing and was reassessed as a T53 athlete. The decision was appealed by the British Paralympic team but a second classification was upheld.
"It's been a really hard week - I've gone through every emotion you can go through and I'm at the point now where I'm quite angry about it," she said on BBC Two's Paralympic Grandstand.
"I am a T52 and there's not a person, or even athlete, that doubt I'm a T52, medically and on the track."
If the re-classification is not overruled and Ridley agrees to take part, she will compete against team-mate Tanni Grey Thompson in the T53 400m final on Saturday.
But because there is no T53 200m, she will compete instead in the T54 200m - a jump of two categories. The heats for that get under way on Sunday.
"Physically, the muscles and functions I have, I can't compete against them because the T53 category have full arm function, full pec function... I don't have any of those things," she added.
"So for me to try to race against Tanni, I wouldn't come anywhere near - I'd be right at the back, if not completely last."
