Dunham helped the team win gold at the Sydney Paralympics |
Great Britain swept to seven individual gold medals and retained their team title at the Paralympic World Dressage Championships. Nicola Tustain, Anne Dunham, Lee Pearson and Debbie Criddle each won their classes to secure team gold.
"I couldn't be more delighted," said David Hunter, performance manager for the British team.
"Not only did the team retain the World Championship title, but all six riders have performed brilliantly throughout."
More than 130 riders from 36 countries took part in the three-day event in Belgium.
Britain raced to 436.25 points to claim the team honours ahead of Germany (428.12pts) and Norway (413.47pts).
Dunham (grade 1a) claimed gold medals on Day Dream II while Welsh rider Tustain (grade II) also took two individual titles on Prinz Heinrich.
Criddle (grade III) guided Figaro IX to two golds while Pearson (grade 1b), who won three titles at the Sydney Paralympics, took a single gold.
The six-strong squad that travelled to Belgium was completed by Michelle Crunkhorn (grade IV), who picked up a silver and a bronze, and 17-year-old Ricky Balshaw (grade II), who also won a bronze.
