 Jenkins hit nine maximum scores against Thornton |
Ledbury darts star Terry Jenkins had to work hard to earn himself a place in the quarter-finals of the PartyPoker.com Grand Slam of Darts. Jenkins beat Robert Thornton 10-8 to set up a clash with Raymond van Barneveldt in the last eight. The Herefordshire player was 5-2 down but hit nine maximum scores of 180 to eventually shake off Thornton. He will now take on the Dutchman van Barneveldt in a best-of-19 legs match on Friday evening.
