Our winner will be riding the same route as the Tour De France |
The competition to find our amateur cyclist has closed and we're now hard at work drawing up a shortlist of potential winners.
One lucky cyclist will ride a duplicate of the first stage of this year's Tour de France - mirroring the exact route the professionals will take a week later on the historic UK Grand Depart.
The BBC Sport website will follow their progress as they prepare for the 120-mile journey between Greenwich and Canterbury.
So thank you to everyone who entered. The only problem is that the response exceeded our expectations!
We had over 1,300 entries - many with video clips - so we're currently sifting through all of these and concluding a shortlist.
We will be calling those people shortly before making our final decision next week.
Even if you don't win, there will be plenty of ways to contribute your cycling thoughts and experiences on 606 as the countdown to the Tour continues.
