Andy and Frank Schleck are to leave the Saxo Bank team with a view to joining a new Luxembourg-based outfit in 2011.

"It's official, we will not be riding with [Saxo Bank owner] Bjarne [Riis] in 2011," 2010 Tour de France runner-up Andy Schleck told cyclingnews.com.

"It's been a fantastic five years for me, I learnt a lot in that time. I'll stay friends with Bjarne but this is the end of the road for us as a team."

Saxo Bank are set to leave the sport at the end of 2010.

The brothers are reportedly set to link up with ex-Riis employee Brian Nygaard in a new outfit based in their native Luxembourg.

Nygaard recently left Team Sky amid speculation that he was planning to become a team manager with the Schlecks on board.

Andy Schleck, 25, won his third consecutive white jersey as best young rider thanks to his second-place finish behind Alberto Contador.

His older brother Frank's Tour ended early when he suffered a broken collarbone in a fall during stage three.

The 30-year-old spent eight years with Riis, who admitted before the Tour that the brothers would be keen to switch.

"I cannot imagine a new Luxembourg team without Frank and Andy Schleck in it," Riis said.

Contador will also be riding for a new team next season after announcing he was leaving Astana after turning down a new deal.
