Cornwall cyclist Chris Opie has returned from the 2010 Tour of Libya with a string of wins to his name.

The 22-year-old, who cycles for the Pendragon-Le-Col-Colnago racing team, came first in stages four and five of the event.

Opie also won the Grand Prix Al Fatar, a one-day race at the end of the tour.

He told BBC Cornwall: "It was a good experience to have got a chance to ride with the team for the first time and to work well together was awesome."

The overall tour was won by Libya's Ahmed Youssef, with Opie finishing 30th, seven minutes and 54 seconds behind.
