Huish Park will be the finish line for the penultimate stage of the Tour

Yeovil Town Football Club will be the finishing point for the penultimate stage of the 2009 Tour of Britain.

Cyclists will set off from Hatherleigh in Devon and finish 159km later in the grounds of Huish Park on 18 September.

"We're delighted to be hosting the final of a stage that could decide who the overall winner is," said Yeovil's commercial manager David Linney.

"For the town of Yeovil and the brand of Yeovil Town Football Club to be involved it's great news."

The Tour of Britain starts in Scunthorpe on Saturday 12 September and runs for eight days, finishing in London the following Saturday.
