Olympic winners head to Worcester

Bradley Wiggins will be heading for Worcester on 10 September

Olympic gold medal winners will be heading for Worcestershire in the country's top cycling event.

Following their success in Beijing, Bradley Wiggins and Geraint Thomas are due to ride in the Tour of Britain.

The tour heads to Worcester on Wednesday, September 10, when the 96 competitors will head off for stage four from Worcester racecourse.

The tour will head north from the city through Bewdley and Kidderminster, for the 96-mile leg to Stoke-on-Trent.
